It provides clarity, showing us the parts of ourselves that we might be in denial about or are avoiding. It is an opportunity to step into our Shadows and release anything that no longer serves us with love.

When the Moon in its Last Quarter, this is a time of deep introspection and shadow work to clear our energy for the upcoming New Moon a week later.
With this energy occurring in the sign of Capricorn, we are making plans for the benefit of our long-term. This is Earth energy during a Fire season, so we are feeling excited and passionate while taking grounded, intentional steps to bring our plans to reality.
