New Moon x Solar Eclipse in Aries Guided Bath Ritual 4/19/2023
A New Moon is typically the time, not for taking action, but for setting intentions and being. And then of course, we have the solar eclipse occurring today as well. Eclipses are traditionally not a time for manifesting, spell casting, or taking any intentional actions, as the energy of an eclipse is very unpredictable (read: shit can go sideways FAST). You know that whole “be careful what you wish for” narrative of like an evil genie or leprechaun? That’s the kind of energy that comes from trying to manipulate energy during an Eclipse.
This is not to say that an Eclipse is inherently bad. In fact, Eclipses are connected to the energy of our Highest Good. And a lot of times, things need to fall apart in order to rebuild for what’s best for us. The eclipse is a very Divine time of things happening FOR us. If you have been working on manifesting one thing for a long time, trust that what happens during the eclipse season is bringing this and everything that is meant for you TO YOU. And don’t try to force anything. Simply be present and allow for the Universe’s eclipse magic to unfold FOR YOU. This is why self awareness and reflection is all that is recommended during this time.
While this time can be disorienting and shocking, it is important to come back to grounding and being present in your Body, Mind, and Spirit. It is a good reminder that, yes, you are wildly capable of creating your own reality- AND to not forget that this life is a CO-creation with the Universe and every being that is part of it is interwoven to learn lessons from one another and raise the collective consciousness.
While the sign of Aries is traditionally represented by a ram, this lunation feels more like snake energy to me- moving slow and smooth, which creates a smooth and fast movement. Did you catch that? Slow is smooth. And smooth is fast. We don’t need to move quickly or exert more effort to get farther. Rather move in flow with our surroundings. Shed the dead, excess outer layer to get to the new deeper conscious awareness of the Universe’s protection of our timeline.
This bath ritual will be all about tapping into the present moment. We don’t need to do anything. Just be. Just listen. Just reflect. Allow.
Just get quiet with yourSelf. Allow every physical sensation, emotion, pleasure to be honored and fulfilled. Eat what you want. Express yourself how you want. Touch what you want. And be what you want.
