First Quarter Moon in Scorpio Guided Bath Ritual 8/5/2022

This bath ritual marks the first of our two Lions Gate Portal bath rituals. The Lions Gate Portal occurs every year on August 8th when the Sun in Leo, Sirius star, Orion’s belt, and Earth all perfectly align, as a powerful portal between this timeline and the next. It’s during this time that our intentions and manifestations hold great power and we have the ability to bring some of our loftiest dreams into reality. This year, the Lions Gate Portal is perfectly nestled between this First Quarter Moon in Scorpio and the Full Moon in Aquarius occurring on the 11th.
This is exciting because the First Quarter is a phase of taking action, empowerment, and expressing ourselves. When it falls in Scorpio, it calls us to take actions that prompt us to undergo deep transformation. This is a lunation about radically leaving everything behind that isn’t aligned with our manifestations so that we can boldly step into this new chapter brought in through the Lions Gate Portal. The actions and expressions we make right now need to be making a clear statement to the Universe that we are fully and wholly committed to what we are calling in. We will be channeling our energy into the Joy & Prosperity spell jar that was included in the subscription box (if you aren’t a subscription box recipient, the components of the spell jar are outlined below).

The First Quarter Moon is a time of conviction, creativity, and action. The intentions that we set during the New Moon the week before are building and we feel the energy behind manifesting them into our reality. The Universe may be presenting you with obstacles to face before accepting your dreams into reality- are you dedicated enough to these intentions to keep doing the work? For these rituals, it is powerful to focus on Self-love, helping us be accepting of where we are and listening closely to our intuition. It’s in this space that we are able to trust ourselves enough to take necessary action and express ourselves with authenticity. Rose quartz is included to further foster the energy of loving self.
Ritual Rundown
We are radically rebirthing ourselves into the life that we desire to live on the other side of the Lions Gate Portal. Even when we hear reasons why we can’t have it- whether that’s from society, our loved ones, or even our own minds- we are always worthy and capable of everything we desire.
Set up your bath room to feel like a sacred space-
Put away anything that will feel like a distraction. Maybe it’s your kids’ dirty laundry or the empty shampoo bottle that you keep telling yourself you can get the last drop out of. Whatever it is, it’s not the focus tonight. Put away for now and deal with it later.
Pull out your Prosperity & Joy spell jar, UNHINGED JOY ritual candle, Rose Quartz, Natural Mexican Calcite, First Quarter Moon Bath Tea, and other ritual elements that are listed above, and set your bath ritual altar up in a way that feels safe and sacred to you
Place your spell jar, Natural Mexican Calcite Tower and Rose Quartz crystal near your bath so that they can absorb your intentions and conduct the energies of self-love and joy during your ritual
Put your phone or device on “Do Not Disturb”
Maybe even focus on what you’re manifesting as you braid your intentions into your hair
Cleanse the energy of the room by spraying the Tulsi + Lemon Balm Hydrosol around the room in a counter-clockwise motion, while saying (aloud or inwardly) “Cleanse my Mind. Cleanse my Body. Cleanse my Soul. Cleanse my Home.” Focus this practice especially over the tub and in front of the mirror, as they collect and project a lot of energy.
Start your bath water and invite in all transformational, powerful, and Divine energies to join you for your ritual
While the water is running, and maybe while you wait for it to cool before you get in, use this opportunity to do some journaling to set your intentions for the ritual. Place the Prosperity & Joy Spell Jar in a dry, safe place within comfortable arm’s reach of your bath
Dry your hands and place them flat together, like traditional prayer hands
Close your eyes and visualize in your mind’s eye you living out the reality that you are manifesting. See it clearly. Take your time and focus on this imagery until it feels like you can smell the air of that reality. Hear the surroundings of that reality.
Once you have a clear, steady vision of this new reality, begin to focus on your vibration. Do this by physically feeling the area just on the outside of your physical body. See if you can feel the volume of your energy outside of your body. Even if you can’t quite get it today, that’s ok. Just intentionally focusing your attention there is growing your expansive energy, even if you can’t feel it yet. It takes practice.
Allow the bath water to carry and magnify your energy. Imagine it beginning to vibrate and ripple with the power of your manifestation.
Now focus on that energy growing between your hands. Feel your hands get warm and buzzing with your energy. As they begin to grow in vibration, slowly separate your hands. Do so at a slow pace so that the energy between them grows and doesn’t break in focus.
Once you have your hands about six inches apart with a solid sense of energy and vibration between them, place your hands carefully around your Prosperity & Joy spell jar. Hold your hands there and focus on your energy pouring into the spell jar, infusing it with your intentions and manifestations.
Hold this energy around and into your spell jar for as long as you can maintain the focus (even just a few minutes)
As you end this practice, gently wrap your hands around the spell jar and just hold it as your energy comes back to baseline. This spell jar is now a beacon, a magnet for this manifestation taht you set your intentions on. Once out of your bath, place it somewhere you will see it daily. Giving it your regular attention, even if it’s just a peripheral glance, will further imbue it with you energy.
